The cryptid called "Batsquatch" is one of the weirdest ones you'll hear of. It is kind of like a bat…. and kind of like a Bigfoot. But, what is it really? Truthfully, its a cryptid… so no one really knows. But, it definitely is something very strange.
SIGHTING OF A FLYING MONSTER
At 9:30 AM, on April 19, 1994, Brian Canfield, and 18 year old high school student, was driving to his home near Mt. Rainier in Washington State. As he was driving, his truck suddenly died. Right after it did, he saw something terrifying thirty feet ahead.
Something had just come out of the sky and landed in from of his truck. The thing stood absolutely still, on its hind legs only. It was at least nine feet tall, had bluish colored fur all over it, and had a wolf-like face. Its eyes were yellow with "half-moon pupils", and it had tufted ears, a large mouth full of sharp teeth, feet like a bird's, powerful arms, and hands with fingers. Perhaps the scariest part - it had a huge pair of wings on its back!
The two stared at each other for a couple of minutes, and then the thing, whatever it was, unfolded its wings (which took up the whole width of the road!) and took off. The flapping of its wings caused Canfield's truck to shake! It flew off towards Mt. Rainier and after it left Canfield's truck started up again. Not surprisingly, he high-tailed it out of there.
RETURN TO THE SPOT
The next day, Canfield went back to the spot of his sighting with his mother and a neighbor to look for evidence that the thing had been there. He found none, but he had a reputation for honesty and many people were convinced he saw something out of the ordinary.
The media dubbed the creature "batsquatch" because it seemed similar to the famous ape-man cryptid, but with wings, and the name has stuck.
A RECENT SIGHTING?
In 2011, a person in Chicago, of all places, took a photo of what some think is Batsquatch. I, however, do not think the photo is real. You can decide for yourself.
WHAT IS IT?
I do think Batsquatch is a real thing. Flying humanoids like it are seen all over the world. As to exactly what it is, I really don't know. It kind of sounds like a Bigfoot with wings… whatever it is, it stands on two feet. The wolf-like face and yellow eyes, though, sound like a Dogman face! And Bigfoot and Dogmen don't have wings.
I guess Batsquatch will remain a mystery….

"Batsquatch" and "Rebobs" sounds amazingly similar in description.

DeleteYes, they do. Also interesting is that someone once saw a 9 ft tall "half-man half-monkey" in the area where the rebobs are said to lurk...
