Book Review: The Monster Book by Nick Redfern

Nick Redfern is my favorite author, so it should be no surprise to those who read this blog that I got his The Monster Book: Creatures, Beasts and Fiends of Nature. Earlier today I finished said book, and this is my review.

The Monster Book is similar to his Bigfoot Book from 2015, in that it covers a wide variety of creatures from across the globe. But, unlike The Bigfooot Book, this one focuses on all types of creepy cryptids, not just big ape-men.
Nick Redfern & I

The book is split into parts, each focusing on a different "type" of cryptid, which are 1.) Unearthly Cats, Deadly Dogs, Werewolves, 2.) Nature Gone Mad, 3.) Reptilians, Amphibians, Dinosaurs, and Worms, 4.) Lake, River, and Ocean Menaces, 5.) Cryptic Apes and Wild Men, 6.) Not So Human, 7.) Flying Beings, 8.) Vampires and Bloodsuckers, 9.) Monsters of Magic and Mind, and 10.) UFO Creatures. Everything from the Loch Ness monsters, to the Flatwoods Monster, yowie, dragons, Dogman, El Cucuy, Mothman, black panthers, and chupacabras is covered, as well as everything in-between.

If you have an interest in cryptids, monsters, and strange beings, definitely check out The Monster Book.
