Yesterday, on the day I watched The Mothman Prophecies, I read on Loren Coleman's CryptoZooNews that the creator of the Mothman statue in Ponit Pleasant, West Virginia, has died.
Bob Roach, the statue's creator, passed away at the age of 81 on August 30th. August 30th also happens to be the day I went down to Point Pleasant last year.
Roach was well known in Mason County for his amazing statues, one of which is the Mothman.
The Mothman statue was unveiled in 2003. Now it stands by the Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant.
Rest in Peace Bob Roach.
