There are A LOT of Lake Monsters in Scotland. There's Nessie, Morag, Lizzie, and others. But, did you know that there is another monster in Loch Awe, the third largest lake in Scotlad?
According to witnesses, there is something there. One sighting occurred around Easter of 2000, a couple driving near the Loch spotted a creature the woman described as "like the Loch Ness Monster." It had a head sticking out of the water and two humps behind the neck.
Another documented account is by Timothy Pont who described the creature(s) as giant eels that scared fishermen from the lake and reached incredible lengths. A lot of others have also descried the monster as a giant eel, some saying it was 11 feet in long.
The Loch Awe Monster is not the only lake monster described as a giant eel. Lots of others are, including Champ, the Flathead Lake Monster, Nessie, Cressie, and more.
