Yesterday, I finished The Beast of Bray Road, a 2003 book by Linda S. Godfrey, author of many cryptozoology books including Strange Wisconsin and American Monsters.
As you can tell from the title, this book is about the Beast of Bray Road, a dogman/werewolf seen in Wisconsin. Lots of sightings occurred in the early 1990s and Linda was the reporter in the area who covered the stories. Later, older sightings came in, along with those from other states, including some of the Michigan Dogman.
Godfrey also discusses possible connections between werewolves and ancient sites, artifacts, names, etc, and also how many TV companies searched for the monster.
I have read some of Linda's other books and enjoyed this one just as much as I enjoyed them. 5/5.
